Please Please Me should have been included. I know the explanation is that it went to #1 on one of the British music charts but not both therefore it didn’t qualify.However Love Me Do which barely crawled its way into the British Top 20 is here because at the height of BEATLEMANIA in America Love Me Do spent one week at #1. If My Bonnie had gone to the top would it be included rather than Please Please Me? Leaving it out is like leaving off She Loves You! It’s the song that Launched them!

There are artist today they take years to come up with one or two songs. The Beatles created 300 songs 32 were number one hits all written by Paul McCartney. They will never be something like that in our lifetime.
