Love this album - yes, some songs bring familiar themes but listening to it right now, as I write this review, all I want to say is 'long live rock and roll'

This release is very tiring to listen to with all the compression & over production...the worst part is there are great songs being buried in the final mix. Hopefully, one day the Stones can re-release the basic tracks and remix-down ...maybe "The Demo Version" with the ghost of Jimmy Miller over their shoulder!

The Rolling Stones are truly malialyable , they bend and shape their music according to adjust to the changing times . I can remember many years ago that I didin't like their record " Some Girls " because it was so different from their sound but it was such a success and departure from their norm . Songs here that I like are " You know I'm no good " - Amy Winehouse cover is beautifully coverd here . " Rough and Twisted " - is another good song as well as " Covered in You ". On this record I can hear Micks voice still having the characteristics that gave the Stones such lasting power over the many years , Keith Richards guitar work is as solid as it's ever been . Bravo , Bravo , Bravo .

Easy to Appreciate Greatness

I can’t fathom the energy and talent it takes write, compose, and play music at 80+ years old. Yet they still do it. The riffs, beat, and lyrics found the groove yet again. We’re so lucky to have them.
My favorite is Never Wanna Lose You. Apart from the Mick, Keith, Ronnie, and Steve show…the bass guitar, (assume it’s Darryl Jones) is on fire. The keyboard (assume Chuck Leavell) work hits with the bass, what a groove. So much energy.
