Reviews

  • You’re All Way Too Kind

Why everyone feels the need to give the Stones a free pass with Hackney Diamonds is beyond me. I guess since it’s been so damn long, everyone wants to believe this was worth the wait. It’s a poppy, cheesy embarrassment with weak, uninspired songwriting. I don’t care how many five star reviews it gets. It’s as if these people never heard anything from the standards they set during their first twenty years. The Stones haven’t done anything truly great since Tattoo You and forget anyone who says different. Hackney Diamonds is nothing more than a bland and boring sellout.

The Stones have not put out a decent album in close to 30 years. That album being Stripped. Why am I not surprised with this one. While I love Keith Richards. I cannot believe he is ranked anywhere near Stevie Ray Vaughan in the top guitarists of all time.
  • THIS IS DISGUSTING

this is vomit inducing. I ABSOLUTELY hate the rolling stones. how do you psychopaths think this sounds good. At least this album doesn't make me want to rip my ears out like there other albums do. Ac-dc, rolling stones, nickleback, and the eagles are all ear-bleeds. I'm not listening to any of this horse hockey. Taylor swift for life.

Listening to this soundtrack is like living in the past, yet being all new while in the present. It's like a wormhole for your soul, and leaves you with a vibe that digs deep.

Just my personal opinion; this is the best Stones album since the 1977 release of Some Girls! I can’t stop listening to it. If I had it on vinyl it would worn out already.

I can't believe all these five star reviews. This is just an average Rolling Stones release and nothing more. Five stars is for some of their sixties material and a few of their seventies albums and one or two eighties albums. Guess I'm in the minority here but I'm 70 and grew up with listening to the band and quite frankly they should have called it quits years ago.

Mess it up should be a single. Mick sounds fabulous. I’ve seen the stones live three times. Thankfully this isn’t more forgettable crap.
