One of their best

Admittedly I have always been more of a casual fan of Cheap Trick after being introduced to them with the Budokan album in 1978. While I have enjoyed several of the more recent releases, All Washed Up is the total package. After downloading, I bought it on vinyl as well as it is such a great listen all the way through. For me, the highlights are All Wrong Long Gone, The Best Thing, Twelve Gates, and Bad Blood. Definitely in my top 5 releases of 2025.

This album is great. Fun to listen to and captures everything that makes Cheap Trick, Cheap Trick. Robin Zander and Rick Nielsen both sound like their prime. Bad Blood
Is my favorite so far. Great riffs in that tune. If you like CT, get this one.

Band Whose Best Years Are Over

In the late 70’s and early 80’s, Cheap Trick was on top of their game with an original sound and gimmick. As many decades have went by, the best years as a band are over. Unfortunate end to a group who at one time had the music scene in the palm of their hand.
Still relevant

Cheap trick is a rock and roll band who is still pushing out new material and staying true to themselves. Always unique in the tradition of setting themselves apart from everyone else.
Hats of to cheap trick for being relevant. The Bradleyss don’t know what they’re talking about. Must be a failed musician or worse yet, a failed critic. Go find something to do.

I’m grateful that a conventional rock band-and a GREAT one-still exists in 2025. My only fear is that this is the last one they’ll make. Keep it going, Rick! There’s obviously plenty of gas left in the engine judging by this album!!

Their sound is now just like a million other forgettable bands. There's nothing distinctive or memorable about a single track on this album.
Why can't anyone produce a record anymore?
Sounds Like 1980 And that’s a Good Thing!

Sounds like old Cheap Trick! Correction on an earlier comment. The whole band is now on board! Rick has admitted he had a bad case of TDS. He even signed up for ICE Patrol in Illinois. Said he’s thankful for law enforcement and wishes to help curb crime in his home state. New album is sounding great! The Riff that won’t quit is on repeat on my setlist. Can’t wait for the tour!!
