Just read my review for Best Of XX volume 1.
My only other complaint is that the BabyMetal collab is for a song that’s only 3 years old at this point. This whole Best Of XX project is to reclaim their older songs and The End is not old nor is it even under the old label. So why remake this song? Why to capitalize on BabyMetal’s popularity, of course.

These guys have been my favorite band since 2008, but not only am I having difficulties enjoying any of these “remastered” albums — or more than 3-4 songs on new albums — I’m having a hard time convincing myself to even give it a chance.
The songs sound like unfinished demos and some of the choices don’t even make much sense. Why would BABY METAL be featured on “The End” vs something like “Burn MF” — they’re hard enough to blend with as it is?
Instead of this approach, why not do a cover album? I mean, just imagine Ivan singing “Kiss from a Rose”. If done the way we’d expect, I guarantee that would be as big, if not bigger, than “Bad Company”.
Until then, please reevaluate the time and effort into these projects, and focus on something different.
