The general opinion was that this album sucked, mainly because it was completely different from everything Weezer had released at the time and you know how that goes.
The fact that there’s still hate for this album today is proof that once a general opinion is formed, people with no personality will just follow whatever others say and not form an opinion of their own.
If this came out today, Weezer fans would be all over it. I’m not saying it’s perfect, but it’s nowhere near as bad as people claim it is.

This and Hurley are the only Weezer albums I can’t really get into. Oddly enough, I think this album’s problem is that it’s relatively very normal. Quirkiness is what makes Weezer, Weezer, and there’s not much nerdy about this album.

It’s good songs all the way though and is very relatable. My personal favorite is the other way because it just perfectly captures the feeling of loving a girl so much. But knowing it could never work. This will always be my favorite Weezer album

Iconic band 🤪😇🤩, when I heard “ Beverly “ “hills” what first comes to my mind is like a scene “hot” college scene in the late 200s movies like” bring” it “on” a cheerleading movie or Jennifer’s “body”. Idk the song can mean and what ever your want it to be for you 🙃. ☮️
