Easily one of the best alternative metal albums (if not one of the best ever). Got me through my childhood. It is easily one of the rawest, emotional, and empathetic rock albums to date. Must have purchased this CD 10 times throughout the years due to scratches from over-playing.

I love this album. It shows that Staind was something before "It's Been Awhile" but if you want a heavy album from Staind, Tormdented is the way to go. No offense to this album, I love it, but Tormented needs to be more common than it is.

The song 'Excess Baggage' is one of the most emotional and beautiful songs of all time

Huge staind fan, but for me in particular a bit too much screaming. Many good songs tho, I love crawl, spleen, me, flat, home. Defintely not their best imo, but still very good

Everything after this sounds like commercial crap. A few ok songs here and there. To each their own.

I had no idea Staind had a big Nu Metal vibe until I saw this, they recently went back to this on the self titled album, I personally enjoy their Nu Metal over the Post-Grunge. This is an album people must hear.

Love this album! Every song on it is awesome! While I like what they've become, I love the heavy, downbeat, aggressive sound of their older material. Spleen is my favorite.
