I love this CD and always will if you had to choose one and only one George Benson CDs this would be the one. It is really the Essential George Benson CD to have, to appreciate his unique and varied g-d given talents and gifts. His talents Vocally, Musically, and emotionally are all on display in this Timeless work of art and musical perfection. Breezin & This Masquerade are my 2 favorite cuts but this CD is Quintessential George Benson at his very best ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this vinyl LP in 1976 when I was a kid. I was in a place where a guy could buy fantastic high end stereo gear at great prices and I was grabbing music that showed off my new components. This album sounded amazing then and hearing it again on iTunes it sounds just as amazing. Mellow and full of good memories, this is timeless stuff.

Leave it to iTunes to grossly overcharge consumers. I purchased this album on CD recently for 1/2 the price
(at a brick & mortar store no less). Shop around before considering.

I was 3 when this album came out, but I always remember hearing it in the background of my childhood. When my parents would have friends over it was a great way to break the ice album. And now I use it in the same way or sometimes just on a mellow afternoon breezin.

I was in the military at the time this album came out. Lots of good times listening to this. I had it on LP. George Benson has that special touch when he plays. I also play the guitar, but this man is a genius. the way his fingers glide up and down the neck. You hear nothing but silky smooth passages the way this music can make a person feel. Every time I hear Breezin or Masquerade, just bring back great memories of being young and carefree. Thank you Mr. Benson for letting us have the honor of enjoying your musical talent and your beautiful heart felt tunes. He strikes chords like no other guitarist I have ever heard.

One of the best jazz albums ever. In 1976 it helped convert me from rock over to Jazz. George Benson is one of the best and most diverse jazz guitarists ever and has influenced many others. His music is always uplifting and fun to listen to. Breezin always reminds me of cruising on many road trips while enjoying this great music! A must have for any jazz collection.

I was in college during the mid to late 1970's and I got a hold of George's White Rabbit Album. For the rest of the 1970's I just listened to Jazz (and lot's of George)... I was so out of touch with the rock/pop music of the mid-late 70's... but looking back now, I'm glad I was influenced by George. I think he may be incredibly underrated/under-appreciated as a guitarist. His technique, style, phrasing and interpretation is so fantastic and unique to George. On top of that he has a wonderful voice... I love everything he does. I saw him once live in concert in 1981 San Carlos rotating stage theatre... he was sooo cool.
Other artists I recommend from that time period (many of whom I got into because I saw their names on George's albums) Earl Klugh, Ronnie Laws, Hubert Laws, Bob James, Michael Franks, etc... ;)
