He's his hero!

I love The Killers and Brandon Flowers solo work....but this is country music meant for a direct to video type movie. Not my thing. I hope the next will be better.

Interesting shift to the music Brandon Flowers grew up on. Nice instrumentation, good vocals - the lyrics sometimes can use a little bit of editing, but they are heartfelt and overall an interesting album from Brandon. I loved The Desired Effect and thought it was going to be hard to top, so I’m not going to say Thrasher is better or worse, but it is different and very good and still distinctly Brandon.

I’ve been a Killers fan since 2004. Brandon’s new album definitely moves in a new direction with a Country-Western sound. It’s not my preferred genre of music. But the album is gorgeous: both musically and lyrically.

Flowers goes country. This is not a total surprise and he has hinted at it on his last solo record. The songs here are very strong, among the best of his career. Of course, the country arrangement is not to everybody’s taste, especially if you like the more electronic side of Flowers/ The Killers. I am not a country boy but the arrangements preserve his bigger-than life style. It is a really refreshing record. Well done.

Like Bruce Springsteen, Brandon’s done an album focused on roots music. Similar themes from past compositions. Always great lyrics and the Nashville musicians stellar

A lot of soul and creativity. “An American Dream” is one of the best new songs I have heard in awhile! Powerful imagery throughout the album.

Brandon Flowers’ best album. Miss America and An American Dream are masterpieces but the whole album is great. Deserves strong sales and critical acclaim and I don’t hear any reason why he wouldn’t be getting it.

Soundtrack to my life. Every album hits perfectly.
