My favorite Golden Hour album!! some of the later tracks remind me of The World / Fever-era too. it’s just another solid no-skip EP.
  • Fun new chapter in the Golden Hour series

Golden Hour Part 5 is a unique spin on ateez’s established sound and plays with various latin and afro beats. It’s very dancey and pop heavy, with some darker elements on the “B-Sides.” My only complaint is that I wish it was longer! I can’t wait to see what ateez does next!!!

Man, I loved Ateez bc they were so different and so creative. I became a fan during the Wave/Illusion era. But the last couple of comebacks have been suuuper generic lyrically and compositionally. I can’t listen anymore. I hope they go back to their roots.

I think Golden Hour Part 5 is probably my favorite Golden Hour album, 100%. Bad is addictive, thrilling, catchy, and sexy. Mamacita screams Latin and South American cultural influences that is such a bop, such a vibe, high energy, and such a replayable beat. I love how Toxin highlights each members' vocals, especially Wooyoung, and I love the lyrics for each one. Yeosang's captivating vocals in Fallin' are jawdropping and Body to Body gives a wonderful final inclusion and close to the album with Hongjoong and Mingi's raps. This album is ATEEZ's first album that delves into love, especially the toxic cyclical, but deeply relatable and heart-wrenching (but also some very corny and suggestive lyrics...). I am so happy to have to privilege to watch ATEEZ explore different genres and sounds in their music while still keeping their identity and I couldn't be more satisfied with this summer's album. Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and Artist of the Year all to ATEEZ to me 🙏❤️

Ateez used to be good. Then they ditched their unique sound. The last few comebacks have been harder and harder to listen to.
