As much as one can laud HB's earlier works, some such things are best left in the past and should never be revisited for the sake of nostalgia lest they become a sad parody of an artists own greatest works. Sadly, Harold should have know these would have been better left in the vaults. This is to not underscore the melancholic genious that Harold has achieved in all of his other compositions, some of which near masterpiece status by anyones measuring rod, but this one sadly, is the hammer on the thumb of an otherwise wonderful career for a superb composer.

If you are aware of an Aleph event or access to such. Then be prolific with it and share. The world needs more of the data you have been receiving.

Good listening, but not every selection great, of which I found 'Greek George' to be the superior cut.

The sound of this record reminds me somewhat of one of my most cherished musical possessions: Delhi 9 by Tosca. I can't wait to take Harold's Journey.

I'm a Harold Budd fan, although some of his releases are VERY hit or miss...and this one misses big time. Its just not good. The pauses in-between notes on some of the piano songs are way to long. The second half of the album has other acoustic instruments(I think) that are not my thing at all. Mr Budd needs to play in the style of his his release with John Foxx(Translucence) and his masterpiece with Robin Guthrie--Bordeaux. Most of his solo stuff is not good at all. Disapointing.
