Chances are if you are here, you did not stumble upon this album. However, if you are debating buying this album, it is definitely worth the cost. I bought it about 2 years ago, and it has held up to repeated listenings quite well.

Fantastic songs with amazing guitar. This sounds as fresh as the day it was released, you will not be dissapointed. Eric's playing, songs, vocals and tone are all on display here. Simply great.

First heard the album in ‘86 driving home at 2 AM in Austin. Local station played it in its entirety commercial free. I was absolutely mesmerized. Had never heard of him before that night but went out & bought the cassette next day. His next album was just as good. He is meticulous which is what sets him apart but make no mistake… His guitar is soulful and in all these years, I’ve not been able to get this or his next, Ah Via it off my mind.

Eric Johnoson's Debut Album. From studio musician obscurity, he suddenly appears, in full splendor!
Lucky enough to see this album in concert. On first listen this album seems so comercial, but wait a second...
every guitar solo is gorgeous! Then you become aware of this artists meticulous control, beautiful melody lines, and OMG that Tone! Make no mistake, his guitar sings like a goddess, but has balls like a Barbarian!
