I remember hearing "Is it Love" and just thinking it was the best song in all the world...then I saw the HBO special Art or Bust and discovered "My eye on You" and the artist side of this divine artist. This wasn't my first bette outting, I'd been listening to her music since I was 6 years old, This album was my summer '83, I touched many a boy that year as we listened to it over the stero system blasting from my basement window..."let Me Drive" "Only in Miami" & "Favorite Waste of Time" still ring true for me today.
