Shinedown deserves more credit than they recieve. When they redid "Simple Man", I was amazed. Not many modern bands can redo classic rock songs and make it sound as incredible as the first. Well done!

I discovered this band on the radio and they have not disappointed me upon research. Their acoustic version of simple man is heart piercing and goes right to the soul. Props and great vocals.

My absolute FAVORITE song by them is Simple Man!!! The original was great and hard to beat, but Shinedown outdid themselves! They went over the top and did an AMAZING job! I love it! I love it!

This is the debut album of the amazing band Shinedown. This album is not as good as Sound of Madness, but is still very good. The best song is 45. Buy the album~!

they fail at trying to cover this song i mean to think that they have the skill to make this sound good is shameful the only people who could ever make this song sound amazing would be the original Lynyrd Skynyrd, Shinedown you FAIL!!!!

I gotta say, I recently drove to Columbus, Ohio to see Avenged Sevenfold and had never really heard of shinedown except for a few songs that I had heard on XM. They absolutely rocked that venue and the next day I was buying their albums. They are severely under-rated and I would reccomend them to everyone.

overall an awesome cd, 45 is def. the best song followed closely by fly from the inside and crying out...the only song not worth listening to is lacerated

i heard about shine down off of a ps2 game that my bro is obsessed with. hes always playing it and 1 of the songs on there is fly from the inside. its not a bad song really it just takes some time adjusting to... like being the new kid in skool.
