    Forty plus years on since it's conception Monty Python is still funny and age has not dulled the edge of their humor. Intelligent silliness. Monty Python was a revalation to me back in the seventies when I started catching the shows on a PBS station from out of New York. I began collecting the albums and watching the movies. Classics one and all. What passes as comedy today is not a shadow of a shadow of Monty Python. This album is an excelent introduction to the group and contains some of their best musical numbers including the hysterical Decomposing Composers, A Medical Love Song , and I Bet You They on't Play This Song On the Radio. Although the actual skits are not among their best they are worth having---a dipping of one's toe into the pool before wading out into the deep end. I envy anyone just discovering Python.
