Firstly, most people giving out negative reviews are just doing it for the sake of it. Second, this historic concert was bootlegged for decades and finally got an official release. Legendary Producer Eddie Kramer did his absolute best restoring the analog tape to optimize the best sound quality. Kiss were phenomenal in this specific event. On point musically, great guitar riffs form the late Ace Frehley and captures the raw energy of both the band & the audience. A pretty good live LP.
  • Awful.

Sounds like it was recorded on an old Walkman. Unlistenable. The "solo" tracks are pretty funny. Paul Stanley plays about as good as your average high school guitarist; Gene Simmons bass solo sounds exactly--EXACTLY--like someone left their bass on the floor, plugged in, and is trying to pick it up.

Started listening to Kiss when I was about 10, gave up on them after double platinum I think 78? So there was a window of four years of over the top entertainment, came back for Creatures and Lick it Up, good stuff but that was pretty much it, so when we get these gems, even though I have every song on here in some live form, I’m getting whatever they pump out from the original classic era, it’s time long gone, but it’s fantastic. I was a kid listening to Kiss, now nearing retirement and still listening to this era. ⚡️Ace was a rock star 💫
