I’ll start by saying this is my least favorite album of theirs, i think they improved massively with Suicide Season and every release after. That being said, this re-recording works better in some places and worse in others. I like Buster’s mixing in most cases, and there’s some sections in the songs that i prefer here over the original (didn’t know i was sleeping on Black & Blue), but something feels missing and it made me appreciate the original a little more. Despite not caring for it too much, one thing i liked about the old mix was that it gave the album a snuff film soundtrack-esque feel to it that just isn’t really here anymore. Oli’s vocals sound MUCH better now, though. As for the new song, i thought it was good, but if that’s supposed to be a taste of the next Post Human then i’m all for it👍🏻(RIP Eyeless cover, you will be missed)

It’s So Great I’m So Glad They Remade This Album I Remember Listening To The OG CYB When My Friend Let Me Listen To It In Middle School I Live How This Repented Version Of CYB Is So Much Clearer And We Got Dehumanize As Well 10/10 Masterpiece

This could’ve been brand new today and it would still be a deathcore hit. Shows just how ahead of its time this album was. Hoping this reinvigorates them to lean more into their original aggressive sound and influences for future releases
