The first 6 songs are a smashing success. Some have noted poor theological/political circumstances as a reason they dislike this album but I don't find those anywhere in the album. The best album they've had since Where the Light Shines Through. Definitely in the top half of their 14? albums.

LOVEEEEEEEE these dudes down but they started losing their quality sound after Hello Hurricane sadly. Butterfly Effect is truly their worst song to date. Im only hearing that one time and then never again

These guys just keep churning out good music. It’s been said but they experiment, and still sound like the band I’ve followed for 15+ years.
Is this their best ever? No. But I’m giving them 5 stars for still making music and lyrics that I want to listen to.
To me, best here are Wake Up, Mr Crow; Natural Causes; Ride or Die; Broken Wings; Two Twins

Switchfoot (as usual) nailed it. My wife and I listened to it all the way through and this album is truly such an awesome journey! Amazing lyrics and amazing melodies. Jon, Tim, Chad, Jerome, Boaz — Be encouraged!
Two Good First Songs

While Jon Foreman is one of the best lyricists out there, in recent years the band’s music style has been fair at best…the first two songs here are good…hoping for more in this vein. And I don’t hear anything political here…After listening to the whole album, I’m pleased…Perhaps the most cohesive album Switchfoot has released in years…
