In the compression wars, the listener loses

The distortion is ok (a la the debut) but compression on top of it is just stupid. Husker Du records sound clear in comparison. At least the distorted vocals mean you can’t make out the insipid lyrics. Ah well, every band lasting this long is going to put out a stinker once in a while.
Just awful

What a massive waste of time and energy to make this awful album. Not worth even the trash can.
So disappointing

Really like this album front to back. Personally, this is the best album since Wasting Light.

Here is the thing... the songs are there.. I like the Foos and Dave and what you are saying... dont know who is mixing this stuff, and what recording you are using guys... hire Tom Lord Alge or one of those guys... last record and this sounds like really bad... I´d never thought Id say this, but my band´s recording sound better. Come to Costa Rica to record dudes...

Since Tyler has gone they have gone down hill. This album sucks. Short album for $10. Music is garbage 🗑️ I’m done ✅

Unlike most reviewers I actually listened to the entire album prior to posting my review. These songs grew on me. They have a raw energy, but with great melody to make each track flow. The title track is a bit too distorted for my taste, but is still a good track. Spit Shine, Of All People, and Asking for a Friend are my personal favorites.
