First, I agree with those who praise Blink for being atmospheric and sophisticated, but IMO it lacks what made their previous albums(especially The Silence In-between) so good: their unique fusion of electronic dance and rock. Blink unfortunately sounds generic. After the first track it just bleeds into one long homogenized easy-listening dance track. There are some standouts - Time of Your Life, We Made It, Better Broken- but after several listens I now skip over most of the others.
