I mean, I thought it was a decent track and a little bland UNTIL I heard the last 90 seconds and MY GOD. The last 90 seconds of this song is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. Right up there with the first minute of Teardrop by Massive Attack and Paranoid Androids, "rain down, rain down, on me" repetition. AND the fact that I let my love go 25 years ago and and was able to get her back 4 years later and been happily married for 19 years..... I'm still traumatized by the 4 years I didn't have her and the "she got away, she's got away lines" tear right into my soul from that time still. It's crazy.

I like the sound of it, but the new songs Chappell roan has been making have been terrible. Her other song The Giver was nasty. This one’s fine but her other songs were so much better. I still have faith in you Chappell roan. If you can make an actually good song, you’ll still have your fan. Plus, she keeps making singles, but when is she making an album.
