I’ve been a fan of Tate since she’s all I wanna be an i used to think i could fly. I liked THINK LATER too, but this album to me just sounds too shiny and polished. There’s not a whole lot of emotion or meaning in most of it. I know that maybe it’s not supposed to, but that just makes the album less worth listening to. I also think that Tate is over sexualized. And while she does have some control over her creative decisions, she is really still a very young woman who probably can’t actually make a lot of the decisions as to how she’s viewed and promoted.
The only songs I really like in this album are Purple lace bra, Greenlight, and Nostalgia (notable mentions to Revolving door and Siren sounds). The others are just pretty overdone concepts or just not super memorable.
Also, Tate does seem to focus more on dancing than singing, especially when performing live, which is something that I really wish she’d change.

Ear piercing forced voice with meaningless lyrics. Trying to be something she is not. You are not Britney and you will never be. Yet another artist who has to be near half naked and overly sexual to stay relevant these days.
