This album takes the cream off the top…. (of great smooth jazz albums).
Was so glad to gather a collaboration with Marcus Miller was in the offering. The result in this album is monumental. Cory Henry adding some keyboard chops on ‘Butterfly’ keeps the groove in perspective. October London is a revelation on this album - boy, doesn’t he sound like Marvin Gaye? Rick Braun on ‘Sugar’ is a delight! All the tracks are on point.
All and All, this is a Boney James at his very best! This album I recommend any day. One of his very best deliveries! Great Sax playing as is customary with Boney James! Give stars for me👏🏽💯👍🏾👌🏿✅
