Been a big fan of n,n over the years and have been pleased to see the overall quality of work get better and better. However, this album seems to be step backwards from his previous two albums.. not really sure what he was trying to prove here. Maybe antidepressant withdrawal? Or perhaps the sudden success got to him and he just threw a bunch of demos together. Whatever the case, this is pretty terrible compared to his previous work.
  • Great Album

If there’s anything I would change, it’s the “D-E-A-T-H” cheerleader-like chant (I don’t remember which song it is). That was actually quite shocking and one of the few times I think expressing anguish goes into dangerous territory. Like, I get it, I want to die everyday too, it just seems a bit over-the-top. Other than that sensitive bit, this is some of his best work. It has the most tracks. Probably the most diverse (elements of emo rap, punk, nu metal, and even a bit of hyperpop at one point). Overall, it’s another work of art from an underrated artist.
