The edge had vanished but it was okay.
DL were always headed toward commercial success and Hysteria is their prime.
A ridiculous song like Pour Some Sugar On Me races up the charts? Yeah, the top 40 crowd had caught on.
They were for everyone now… not just the longhair high school crowd.
But there are a couple of undeniable gems:
Animal and Hysteria are late 80’s standards.
Hysteria will always be one of their greatest songs.
