Just saw MØ in Oakland tonight after listening to her music for the past 2 years. She blew my f--- mind. I made a grown woman feel like a toddler at Disneyland. I was completely in awe and in love with her energy, stage presence and geniune excitement to perform for the crowd. LOVE MØ and look forward to seeing her perform again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Girl... I saw you on(at?) the Mad Decent Boat Party and literally can’t get enough of what you have to offer. Blur is a banger. On repeat. Kamikaze is still my fave though 😜
  • “I want you” not Explicit?

I wish that “I want you” didn’t have the f-word in the chorus... somehow they didn’t catch that the song is EXPLICIT. Won’t be buying :(
  • This needs to top the charts!

This album captured my attention from the first downbeat, and held it through to the last lingering note. Not only are the vocals completely astounding, but the lyrics and stories told song after song demand to be played on repeat. Mø is producing music with a depth and quality that most artists strive to achieve, or are only able to find once or twice in their careers, but it seems to me that this album shows we can expect even more depth yet to come.
  • Gone is the quirk, the gloominess... and the depth. sigh.

If you have liked most of the singles since "Kamikaze", you'll probably like this album. If you were hoping for a return to the layered, unique, dark and quicky Mø from "No Mythologies to Follow" (who reappeared briefly on "Roots" on 2017's EP), you'll be dissapointed. To me, this album almost sounds like it would have been the teen-pop debut from which the artist would grow into making "No Mythologies.." as a more mature, much deeper follow up. It's hard to tell the songs apart here, with Diplo-ish, generic choruses and autotuning everywhere. Bummed. What's left is Mø brilliant voice, in the songs where it's allowed to play freely, thankfully. Hopefully tha will stay around for another go into material with more substance than this. Love Mø - but this album is a hard pass for me.
