Though I must concur with my 5 star true hip hop heads…facts indeed. The true purpose of this review is to give flowers to John Forté! Pronounced dead approximately 2:25 PM, 1/13/26. He collaborated with the Fugees on “cowboys” and “family business”. R.I.P king! For those who know or lived through the Fugees pandemonium in 96, It was a whole vibe, this album went viral before viral was a thing. I had the fortune of traveling the east coast that year. You would hear people from Florida to NY, knocking this record intro to finish everywhere you went. True hip hop classic and widely considered to those who know, as one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time.

We just found this album again on vinyl at target for $8. We remembered killing me softly but forgot about how vulgar & just flat out awful this is!! It just helps you remember how rap is not music!! If it wasn’t for Killing Me Softly & it being $8, we would have left it!!
This album was the third best selling of 1996 & has actually sold $7,000,000, (not 18 million) but it again shows how people have not had taste in music for decades now!!
